George Christopher Playground Park

Well-maintained park with picnic area, large playground, public restrooms, water fountain, large field, and tennis court. The playground has different sized slides, swings, and things to climb, all on grass or a soft padded turf surface. The larger structures are closer to the small picnic area, which has two benches and three tables each with three seats. It's easy to see most of the playground from the picnic area and there's other seating spread across the playground. The park has multiple paths to the Diamond Heights shopping center, making it convenient to have small picnic meet-ups. Two unisex public restrooms are available, but were locked when I visited. There are no hours posted.

I came here for a child's birthday party. The rental was only 40 dollars from 2 to 5pm? Totally reasonable price. The benches aren't space quite right for a party but that's okay. And you have to carry your own trash out. However, there are bathrooms and a playground plus grassy field.

Completely remodeled with astroturf ground, and really fun climbing structures. There are separate areas for little and bigger kids.
