Genesee Valley Park

I took my grandkids out in the evening since it was so hot during the earlier part of the day. This park has a golf course, walking/running trails, scenic routes with a bridge over the river, waterfalls, playground, baseball field and nice picnic areas/pavilions. You have to drive or walk through the different areas, because they are well spaced out. It was not crowded. The kids had fun and I was able to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Beautiful park, scenic, and easy to get to! Great spot for nature photos! I did not see restrooms in the section we were in. The roads and walkways are clean and easily navigated. Plenty of free open parking! I love the bridge going over the river, such a beautiful view of other bridges and as the water was fairly still there was a beautiful reflection of the sky on the surface of the water! The trees are blooming and it's just breathtaking! Enjoyed a walk to stretch my legs with my daughter before heading to the airport. #scenic #river #green #blooms #familytime #park #free #beautiful

You can’t go wrong when there’s a Frederick law Olmstead Park here… The designer of many beautiful parks in America… There was an 11° wind chill despite it being mid April when I was there - so not many folks were around, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
