Worst tennis center I've been to. Air conditioning doesn't work. Match got cancelled last minute. Gave it a chance by signing up again but was given a 2 game penalty and a coinflip loss for being 10 minutes late due to traffic. Had no time to warm up. The guy working there was completely rude about it. Place is notorious for cheaters. Terrible place to play, you're better off playing somewhere else and saving your money.

As a regular weekend player at Garden State Tennis Center (8 AM sessions), I've generally enjoyed the facility. However, I need to address a serious concern regarding ventilation in Courts 1-4. For the past month, the fans in this section have not been operating properly, creating uncomfortable and potentially unsafe playing conditions. I've attempted to resolve this through multiple channels - speaking with coaches, the reception desk, and management - but the issue persists. When I tried to improve the situation by turning on the fans myself, Coach Top not only interrupted our game but was dismissive and unprofessional, suggesting we either move to other courts or request a refund rather than addressing the ventilation concern. Further attempts to escalate this to management through receptionist Maya and her manager were equally unproductive, with the focus shifting to blame rather than problem-solving. This is disappointing, especially given the typically high standards set by owner John. While I appreciate the facility's many positive aspects, proper ventilation is a basic safety requirement. I encourage management to: a) Address the ventilation issues in Courts 1-4 b) Implement better communication protocols between staff and members c) Maintain professional standards when addressing member concerns I hope this feedback leads to positive changes, as I'd like to continue playing at this facility. Parents with children playing in these courts during early morning hours should be aware of this situation and advocate for proper ventilation.

Recently this week they canceled a series of utr marches and they never call. They email when people have already started driving. Very unprofessional. Things happen and we understand. But at least call!!!

Good place for kids to learn tennis , have a lot of good coaches like coach top/juan. But stay away from Eugene, especially for younger kids.
