Went there for Escondido Renaissance Faire. This is a lovely event, and the park is beautiful. We live in Arizona, and this park kind of makes me want to move nearby. It's beautiful, rocks and trees, lots of hiking areas. Park rangers and Faire staff and participants were friendly.
Beautiful Park! Pleasantly surprised!! It's very peaceful and adventurous. There is a playground and lots of benches and tables throughout the Park to rest or eat on. There are clean bathrooms. There is also a stage and dancing area. A great place to hike with grass areas, trails, and a running creek that sounds amazing! Awesome place for family get togethers!! A great place for exercising or meditating!! There is a big parking lot. There is also a $5 parking fee.
As a photographer, I'm constantly exploring new venues, and photographing a wedding in a nature park always brings me immense joy. This particular park was an absolute gem and provided the most breathtaking scenic backdrops, making for truly stunning wedding photos. It certainly didn't disappoint!
Went to this park because my girlfriend and I attended the Escondido renaissance faire in Oct '25. What a surprisingly fun faire considering the lack of promotion online. Compared to bigger faires such as the renaissance pleasure faire in my neck of the woods, this faire definitely holds water. The park its situated in is very well maintained with plenty of space and shade for the festivities. I wouldn't be half surprised if this becomes a yearly adventure for fun at the faire.
The parking is usually sufficient, but if there's an event happening then I would plan on finding a nearby public street. There is a nice mix of playgrounds, restrooms, grills, hiking areas, and events scheduled here.
