Really like this club. The only negatives are difficulty in finding court times and difficulty signing up for drills. My favorite drills are on Sunday and they open up when I am driving to work on Monday and booked by the time I get there. Since there is such a demand, they should add another pro and open up 6 more spots.
Tennis and swim club. They can reduce the monthly fee by having just a feee for tennis for non swimmers. 4 courts .
Good luck getting a tennis court. If you’re not part of a clique or a court mafia, you will not get a court. They might as well call the monthly membership fee a donation. There are folks who are playing 6 days a week and folks playing zero times. The club is somewhat mismanaged, cliquey, and has way too many members for the courts available. As I type this review, I have not been able to book a court on Friday, Saturday or Sunday for four weeks. That’s $115 paid with $0 in value being returned to me. This review is not a reflection of front desk staff and coaches who work there who are all wonderful, pleasant to talk to, and the shining star about this club. This review is a reflection of management, the board, and mostly the cliques that run this place.
The staff and tennis coaches at Edgebrook are really kind, helpful and fun. Coach Sean is a highly rated tennis player and a veteran coach who is also a wonderful human being. He has coached my son and me for 5 years now. Coach Alex goes the extra mile to support your child's development, even attending their competitive matches outside the club on his own initiative, to cheer and take notes for their development. Coaches James and Anthony are relatively new to the club, but first impressions are very positive. The pool facility is well utilized and has been getting many useful upgrades post Covid.
