Eagle Rock Recreation Center

This is a pretty sizable recreation park with big green spaces. For active folks there are a small trail, a baseball court, a basketball court and tennis courts for sports; for families and kids there are a playground, swings, picnic areas as well as a dog park. I like that the park is on a small slope so the view is a bit more interesting. However, the park is located at the edge of the residential area, on a little hill and next to highway, hence it doesn't feel very neighborhoody.

2 outdoor exercise areas with various equipment is quite nice. Basketball and tennis courts are good. The baseball fields are rough, with no raised mound and dusty infield, and none of the playgrounds have swings, which is a bummer for my daughter. Despite multiple signs saying all dogs must be on leash, nobody follows the rules here. The park has, at any time, at least 50 dogs, sometimes in the hundreds, and while I do appreciate that most people do pick up their poop, the entire park smells of dog urine. And, again, undisciplined dogs will run up to you and your kids, and the unapologetic, entitled owners never apologize.

Good size dog park within. Ample parking around the area. Just off the freeway.

Easy in and out. Usually a nice concert in the park. Exceptional is the grass has so many holes and very uneven. Hard to walk, especially for seniors with bad knees! It’s been like that for years. Hoping they can repair at same time they repair stage

There is a nice gated area on the opposite end for dogs to run and play, I absolutely love it! There are open fields, small trails and a little kids playground too!
