I'll give it 2 stars. At least they have benches for spectators, but there needs to be an air wall between the basketball courts. They also charge you entry as a spectator, which I think is a pretty low thing to do considering these are not NBA players. Not to mention the way they accept the money is to some guy's personal Gmail account, which you and I all know is not being properly handled and returned to the upkeep of the facility. The whole transaction seemed fraudulent. There's also no accessible entry, so that's definitely an issue in 2023. The place smells horrible, there's no ventilation, and they clearly need to work on it. Not to mention as I write this, I feel like my car is probably going to be stolen given the area it's in. The place makes you feel very unwelcome as well. I've attached an image of the signs posted everywhere, and there are dozens of them. We also discovered that there are no water fountains to be seen anywhere. Seems like an odd thing for a sports plex to either hide or not have at all. Edit: Response to the owner: Thank you for the info about the entry fee, this is an important thing to know about and will be accounted for in the next edit to my review when I return. As for the accessibility of the venue, what person who isn't able to go up those stairs wants to send someone else up to go open the door? Grandparents will visit their grandkids playing in tournaments, and having to get hold of them while there's no cell signal inside to know they're outside the main doors is definitely not ideal. Clear signs to mark an accessible entrance should definitely be in place.

Overall good but this place needs maintenance. The basketball courts are slippery. The courts are not organized well for spectators seating. Compared to this, the Playground Durham is superb!

$70 for an hour to find 0 staff to help you navigate where the court is, inaccessible facility (no handles/buttons for doors to the courts and met with a huge stairwell), ventilation sucks and it STINKS, set up your own court and take it down 15-20 minutes before your times up because an entire basketball team takes over your court/playtime. Also, the 905 number doesn’t work, it’s out of service! Rent another facility - I recommend Z5 Courts. It’s accessible, met immediately by reception, and no hassle set up and take down (also provide equipment as well!)

Would not recommend to come here! The experience here is not worth the money considering the hassle that you’re met with. We booked a court and yet come to a court full of kids playing and deeming that they indeed have the court. Obviously we show that we booked the court however, they still wanted to check it up with staff which is understandable. However, when looking for staff we were accompanied by no one as they are nowhere in sight and weren’t at the desk they were supposed to be at. Eventually the guy running his camp talked to his reps and found out we indeed booked the court and they only had one. In this time we planned to stretch out and warm up but instead are at a loss of 30 mins due to negligence of staff. In addition we had to take another 15 mins to get them to clear the court. I can not talk about how frustrated I felt when we finally met staff and after 45 mins he helps clear the court while eating a bag of chips. Simply unacceptable behaviour from an employee. Regardless we played knowing we had already lost time and were later going to talk to the actual staff when they showed up as the man eating chips said he couldn’t do anything. Finally the end of our time came, and we asked the staff if we could finish our game for an additional 5 mins since we lost 45 mins and explained our situation. They disrespectfully said nope you’re leaving on the dot or I’m charging extra because it’s not their problem. Pretty much if you’re an average person and plan on booking the court I don’t recommend it all, because staff just care about camps and Brodie league. I recommend Z5 as the process is much smoother and you’ll easily be accompanied by staff upon entrance. This is my second time coming to Sportsplex and I’ve consistently been met with this issue. I can simply accept 5 mins to clear the court but nearly an hour is absurd. Employees and the facility don’t care about the average person and I would not recommend!

Great place with fantastic upkeep and a great atmosphere for both competitive and casual games. My group and I booked a slot for a saturday, but had to reschedule to sunday. Unfortunately there was a mixup that resulted in it being cancelled. However they offered a refund and free 2 hour slot anyday we picked which shows their dedication to great customer support. Currently our main gym for these reasons stated.
