Signed my son up for preschool lessons and the communication was awful. Canceling lessons right at the start time, we drove all the way there excited 3 different times to find out it was cancelled and then they told me we would be making the class up and when I showed up they said it must have been a lack of communication and that there was no makeup class. So my son got 3 out of his 8 classes only.
I am a single parent, dropping and picking up my kid to and fro from my work place that has no parking facility. So basically I take bus to reach home, take my car to pickup my kid from an ever under construction road. I am asked to pay 20 dollars for being 4 minutes late. This is second time I am being charged for this money. You don’t understand basic problems of parents, sad and inhospitable. It’s not that I am taking any facility or service from you in 4-5 min when my kid is just under the roof. Disappointed.
Massive public thank you to my parks & rec angel Ms LaTonya. The doors open at 8am. I walked in at 8:03 needing help fixing a shelter reservation. She hadn’t even logged on but listened to my story with patience and kindness. She also reassured me that I hadn’t messed anything up, double checked everything and made copies for me to take home just in case. All before she had even eaten breakfast. These are the acts of kindness that deserve all the gratitude. It may not have been a big deal to her but it meant so much to me and I wanted to share my story.
I play basketball at Bethesda Park(1814 stage road)on a regular basis. Why does the tennis courts have lights at any time of day but the basketball court(that is right beside the tennis courts) only gets lights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7-9?
