Awesome group of “open play” pickle ballers. The Monday crowd was fantastic with plenty of friendly and competitive players.

Dinksf Pickleball Place has quickly become my favorite spot for playing pickleball in San Francisco. The staff here are incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a great atmosphere for both beginners and experienced players alike. What makes Dinksf special is the convenience of having water and bathrooms right on site. It may not seem like a big deal, but it's a rarity on SF pickleball courts and adds to the overall enjoyable experience. Playing indoors at Dinksf eliminates the wind factor, allowing you to focus solely on your game. The organization and management of the facility are on point, making reservations easy, and they host fun events at reasonable prices that bring the pickleball community together. The coaching here is exceptional, whether you're a newbie looking to learn the basics or an advanced player aiming to improve. The instructors are patient and dedicated to helping you become a better player. In summary, Dinksf Pickleball Place is a top-notch pickleball venue in San Francisco with friendly staff, indoor courts, and great coaching. It's my go-to spot for pickleball in the city

DinkSF is one of the best places to play pickleball and meet other players (of all levels). I look forward to every Sunday for open play from 2:30-5:30pm!!! I've met so many great people, coaches, and really think my pickleball skills have improved by practicing here. It's a super fun way to meet people on top of getting an incredible workout! One of the owners, John, is very sweet and welcoming. He would watch when I play and give me pointers that have really helped improve my game! I've seen him do this for everyone and you can tell he's really passionate about helping others improve. Whether you're a pro at pickleball, or just learning, I highly recommend coming to DinkSF!

My favorite pickleball community in SF, people here are friendly, welcoming, and fun. Great way to play some pickle away from rain (and maybe too much shine?)

DinkSF is now in the same location as Church of 8 Wheels (rollerskating). The building was previously an actual church. The playing surface is old wood slats like an old, ummaintained high school gym, and has random uneven/rough spots. The pickleball courts are marked with tape, the nets are temporary (the flimsy, rolling kind). Monday night 3.5+ open play from 5 to 9 pm has good attendance and skill level is generally 3.25 to 3.5 with some random 3.0s and nobody above 3.75. $25 per open play session is a bit steep (considering the court quality and the monthly opportunity cost) but for the consistent skill level and indoor play (no wind), it might be worth it. Wednesday night mixed level open play has more below-3.0 players. Street parking is doable but limited to 2 hours (residential permit required otherwise) so you have to move your car every 2 hours. Otherwise people are generally friendly and welcoming, including the DinkSF staff.
