Cute park in a quiet neighbor hood. Has a pavilion, walking/running trail, pool, soccer field and baseball field. Lots of tables and bbq pits. Loaded up with PokeStops and a Gym. Playground is partly shaded. Had a few dog waste containers along the trail.
Restrooms are usually locked...it gets pretty full sometimes and sometimes you have the park to yourself. Parks usually clean I hardly see or recollect seeing any trash when we visit. Upgraded playground and new benches throughout the park...long sidewalk trail goes around the park in case you wanna go for a walk. Pilgrim park is another name the neighborhood people call this area cause it's off Pilgrim Street. The children usually have a good time here. I put a three star only cause the restrooms are always closed. They have a small baseball field and soccer field and a decent size area for parties. Probably have to call parks n rec for that not sure...either way we will continue to visit.
This is a nice park. It's in the middle of a neighborhood. There is a play ground and it has a rubber base. It's very soft. It also has a merry-go-round that has seats. It looks custom and fast. Lol. Right next to the playground is a pavilion. It has womens and mens restrooms. While I was there it looked like they were holding a self defense class. Then they have a giant tree super beautiful. Not to far from the tree is a softball field. It's well maintained and has dugouts. Last but not least is a swimming pool. The water is clear and looks amazing. I had a good time walking the park. My opinion. It's a gem.
UPDATE OCT 2021 REOPENED! Thank God! Please don't ever do that again! CLOSED! WHY? IT WAS A... Beautiful park, always great people there. Just kids being kids in a safe environment. MY GRANDDAUGHTER WAS SO SAD TO FIND EVERYTHING CLOSED UP AND COVERED WITH NETTING. COVID VIRUS CANNOT SURVIVE IN SUNLIGHT! THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND SO UNNECESSARY! TAKE DOWN THE BARRIERS, LET KIDS HAVE A NORMAL LIFE!
It is very nice equipment and safe. Lots of kids. It was fairly crowded. Not so much that people were fighting over equipment, but crowded enough that the kids can play together. I only stayed in the playground area. The wood shavings seemed a bit messy, but wasn't a problem. Definitely kid friendly.
