5 stars for facility and quality of staff and coaches. What I can’t give 5 stars for is value. 45 bucks for 1 hour is steep, but I love it so much. I’m coming from the DMV area where classes like these are $40 max indoor and outdoor, never less than 90 mins. They have Fairfax Raquet Club and Love&Learn Tennis DMV. Coach ratio max is usually same 1:6. It is a gem though since there are like no other courts in Fishtown.

I’ve been an avid tennis player for nearly 20 years and have played at many different clubs and facilities. I highly recommend Court16 to anyone, whether they are a complete beginner looking to learn some basics, an experienced competitor seeking to sharpen their skills with drills and coaching, and all in between. The Court16 facility is gorgeous and very well maintained. But the real highlight is the staff. The front desk staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and genuinely seem happy to see everyone who comes to play. Every coach I’ve hit with has been skilled and knowledgeable, and created a dynamic and fun atmosphere for clinics. If you’re on the fence about signing up for a clinic, I strongly recommend you give it a shot. Playing here has quickly become a highlight of my week.

I’ve been going to court 16 since July. I’ve never played tennis before. All of the instructors have been very warm and welcoming. The classes are structured in a way where you can learn the fundamentals, but still have a very good time playing and enjoying your time there. Even once when there was a miscommunication about a class being canceled due to an instructor being out sick, they were very kind to Add a free class to My account since I still ended up showing up.

My friends and I had so much fun at Court 16 as an activity for my bachelorette weekend!🩵 We had a mix of total beginner and experienced tennis players in my party and we all were able to have so much fun playing together on the court. A huge thank you to Coach Richard for leading us in some great drills and games, the whole staff was so welcoming. I can’t recommend Court 16 enough!

My kids love their lessons at Court 16! The instructors are wonderful, each with their strengths with various ages and abilities. They have a formula that clearly works to help kids not only play tennis, but enjoy it! The staff and management has been accommodating, friendly, and communicative as they make changes/adjustments to schedules, since they are newly opened and adding instructors/classes. I highly recommend Court 16 for the instruction and community.
