Compton Park

Went inside for the first time on a Saturday morning during the community yard sale. Was pleasantly surprised - a nice spot for different activities. Love the view of the lake as well.

Great park with lots of amenities. Employees & security are all top notch. I’ve never had any issues and I’ve been coming here since 2020. This park is for Tampa Palms area 1& 2 residents and as long as you have an ID with your address and live in those areas you will have no problems. I feel like some people think this is a public city park and it is not.

Ran into my first Karen today in Tampa Palms! Went to this park since I pay an HOA fee for these amenities.. This lady security guard who is terribly bleached blonde decides to walk over out of her way into the open field where my dog and husband are. Corners husband out of the car when he pulls up just to state the dog needs to be on a leash.. before the dog comes out of the vehicle. Then walks to the other end of the car to stand their until the dog gets out of the vehicle to be sure there was a leash on her. Then walks to the club house, to watch us. Then comes all the way to the field 3-4 minutes later to tell us the dog who is ON THE LEASH, that the dog can’t run playing with the tennis ball without us holding the leash. Mind you, no one was in this park and it was just her. I have met a lot of miserable, bored housewives.. This was the cherry on top for me. Find something better to do with your time then to harass a couple and a dog who is on a leash in an open field mid day with no one outside. Give me a break lady. Your behavior is disgusting. How do these people have their titles? Ha! We ended up going to the next park over. Thanks for projecting your miserableness. 🙂

Nice pool, basketball/tennis courts, and playgrounds for kids. Hope they include some bars for pull-ups and dips. That would be perfect!

This is a nice, well maintained park. The workers are always friendly. The pool is kept at a reasonable temperature and the shower even heats up if you keep it on for a minute. The staff are currently asking for ID to enter, which I appreciate.
