Come Play Detroit

I’ve played coed sports with two different leagues in metro Detroit, and ComePlay Detroit has been my favorite by far! I’ve played softball, kickball, volleyball, and bowling with this league, and have always enjoyed the recreational competitiveness they offer. I’ve made tons of new friends over that past 3 years after signing up as a free agent, both on my own team and on other teams! If anyone is new to the area or just looking to meet some new friends, I highly recommend signing up as a free agent for the sport/activity of your choice!

I’ve been in this league now for over 2 years and loving every minute of it. It’s brought me new friends who are basically like family. The one thing I do have to say before joining this league is understand the rules. They are sent out prior to the game starting and posted online. So instead of going into a game uneducated about the rules and accusing teams of “cheating”, you will have an understanding of how the game is played so everyone involved has a good time.

I recently joined the ComePlayDetroit rec league and it has been an amazing experience. The organization is well-run and efficiently managed, which made the sign-up process and league play very smooth. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always ensure that everyone is having a great time. I love the sense of community and camaraderie that is fostered among the players. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or a beginner, you will find a welcoming environment at ComePlayDetroit. I highly recommend this organization to anyone looking for a fun and inclusive rec league.

This has got to be the worst league I have ever played in my life. I've been playing softball for over 40 years all over Michigan. The owner of this league, Justin Jacobs is a crook. He's ripping teams off. It cost $900. We were promised shirts in our sizes and was never giving them. Half the team was without shirts, we have it in writing. And mostly is very uneducated when it comes to league playing rules. This league is to be ASA/USA Sanctioned. This man has allowed The Joe's Team for 5 years to win the league by altering the league play rules specifically to the Joe's team. The Captain of this team is friends with him. Specifically stating at a playoff game, that him and Justin goes to lunch on a regular basis and that Justin will not rule against them at any given time when there is issue with a play call, (Illegal roster line up) Or a question about league rule play that is listed clearly, but changes them at anytime. Not only does he not deserve to run a league, but this league needs to be taken from him immediately. Please do not play in this league. You will regret it. Know your rules before playing any sports.

Been a part of Come Play Detroit leagues for 6 years now. Always a great experience and have met and made some great friends along the way. If you’re new to the area or if you’re just looking to go out and have some fun, you should seriously consider these leagues. A+++++
