Carter Street R-Center

Lots of kids without parental supervision. No one attending to their kids. Took my kids to cool off there and my level of anxiety was through the roof. People smoking and drinking by the playground. The lily pad haven’t been maintained and the kids don’t even have animals and features like the other parks in the surrounding areas. It ain’t a magical place for kids. Has no bbq area or tables.

The people that work there are amazing it's nice to have somewhere to take my kid. And it's free

I love Carter Street rec center, I've taken my granddaughter there a few times when we lived on Portland Ave, when she wants to go play I take her to the north street center or to the 22 school playground cause we close by them two places, but when the summer starts we'll be heading to the Carter Street rec center.

Lots of unsupervised kids 13 and under. Saw a child about 10 years old vaping.... garbage all over the place. Lots of Dogs a couple unleashed. Not exactly the safest neighnorhood... but it is a nice playground and plenty of off streer parking.
