Bur-Mil Clubhouse

Professional staff throughout the entire process. Our event was originally scheduled for the Lake Room however due to a bad storm is caused our event to be moved to the Banquet room on short notice. The accommodation worked very well and quick! I was so impressed how quickly everything worked out before our guest arrived.

Our family reunion was held here. The park was very clean. The bathrooms were clean, and toliet paper was available. This park has a nice swing set and play area for the kids close to the shelters. The picnic tables and shelter were in good condition. They also had a pool area where the kids could swim. A nice size area to play kickball, baseball or etc.. Overall, it was a nice place.

This municipal clubhouse owned by Guilford County is a terrific venue for a variety of events including: weddings, family reunions, corporate training, retreats, etc. About half of the building was recently refurbished (photos in this review are of the refurbished portion of the building). Beautiful is the large banquet room which features a beamed cathedral ceiling, upgraded wainscoting, contemporary light fixtures, parquet flooring, colorful LED lighting strips and spectacular picture windows that overlook the terrace and pergola. The comfortable living room provides guests a place to meet and lounge, and features a stone wall, mantle over the fireplace, and comfortable (yet somewhat institutional) leather seating. The lake room is long and narrow and has a gray slate floor and ample lighting with its many windows. Entirely on the interior, the Oak room has a divider that opens to the banquet room, and has a wall of windows (and upgraded shades with bead chain hardware) along the lake room wall. A large industrial kitchen offers prep space, ice machine, refrigerators, and warming cabinet (no open flame grill) for food. There are no candles allowed in Bur Mil clubhouse; Site coordinator and staff are terrific, easy to work with, prompt reply to questions.

We recently chose Bur-Mil Clubhouse as the venue for our company Thanksgiving lunch. Sydney was great to work with from start to finish. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. The Lake Room was the perfect space for our large group. Highly recommended!

Worked a wedding here and loved it. So many ways to use their spaces. Ceremony site options inside and outside. Generous kitchen space for caterers. The staff was great to work with too!
