Offers excellent programs for the Brighton Community. There is a senior group that has amazing activities. There is pickleball for seniors and they will teach you to play, too. The youth sports are a lot of fun for the little one. There is
Good for Pickleball, but the lights need replacing and the courts need new lines. Update: the lights have been replaced, the floor cleaned and new lines put down in the big gym. This is a great place to play if you're an intermediate level player and want to test your skills against some very good players.
Emily Kelsey gets all 5-stars for her hard work ethic as she plans the best recreational activities that are varied and the day trips are always fun. Emily Kelsey makes all her seniors enjoy their activities as she is a lot like a family member. Her compassion and kindhearted spirit is a joy to behold.
Hey out there, If you are in the area of Rochester, NY, PLEASE take a bit of your time to include a visit this park. There is plenty of parking, hard surface walking paths, kids play area, picnic facilities, Grilling,beautiful flowers, and a LAKE You can FISH.
Brighton Parks and Recreation is actually located INSIDE the old Brookside School. You can enter either from the front, (wind your way around to the hallway in which P&R are situated, or come in from the Winton Road entrance (Columbus ), with the door off of the soccer field.
