🌅This park is always kept extremely maintained picnic area and walking trails are clean and safe, there are plenty of birds🪿🦢🐦⬛🐦 and aquatic Life🐟🐊🐸 to observe as you walk🚶 the trail and plenty of places to sit🪑 and just observe, a nice clean little park in the middle of the city 👍👍😎
The park is beautiful. But I walked it today at 3pm and there’s at least 7-10 homeless people on the grass, walking around. There are areas of this park where you’re more secluded, as a young woman walking alone it’s too sketchy for me, even in broad daylight. I left earlier than I planned because I felt unsafe.
The park itself is small but beautiful. The homeless people tweaking on the trail is awful. Not a safe place for children at all, not even sure why they bother with a playground. I'm just constantly looking over my sholder. That's the only reason why I can't give it a good rating. I suppose the abandoned hospital right behind it is the main issue. I understand that people need a place to live but I won't be bringing my kid here anymore. I felt like I was intruding on their property as opposed to walking in a public park.
Great walking trail around the lake. Quiet with lots of seating. It also has a playground and an exercise pad with equipment. Very peaceful out here and clean. Safe too.
Lots of beautiful wildlife. A great place to walk around, relax, fish, or just watch the birds fish. All of Florida's best water fowl hangout here.
