Big City Pickle - Outdoors in Goose Island

Great Music, Great Community, Great Ambience, Bar on Deck. Wow that chicago city view. 😍 Need I say more. Are they hiring is the question? 🤔

Goose Island is such a cool atmosphere with shade tents, a bar & comfy seating while you’re not playing. They also play great music for a more relaxed vibe during play but to mingle while also waiting to rotate in. Only giving it 4 stars because we had signed up for a beginner’s lesson to learn the rules & our instructor was a no show. We had a good time regardless because we all had some prior experience with tennis but wanted to feel comfortable going into pick up games with the rules in mind. Not sure how reliable the lessons will be for people who have no court experience but a good time overall.

Courts are directly in the sun with no shade. The way the courts are set up, you are always chasing balls! We spent the entire hour chasing balls because our #10 court was next to all the other courts. Our location did not have a bar and food although it was advertised. There were too many people on the courts. People in huge crowds just standing there for no reason. We had an awful time.

This is the best spot in the city to play pickle ball! They have music playing and a full service bar. I did a lesson with Andrew and he was so good! I improved so much in that hour session and would highly recommend.

BCP lives up to their name! Had a group with a 1st time pickler and Andrew provided amazing guidance on the rules, strategy, and techniques. Grab a cold nooner at their bar after your game with the skyline right over your shoulder. Already booked another court resy next weekend.
