Berry Lane Park Tennis Courts

Lighted practice tennis courts without wind screens 🎾 They are on a tilt, far from being leveled but they do dry fast! It was a 4 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(4 years ago) but downgraded to a 2 ⭐️⭐️ 2 being a fairly new surface without cracks in the middle of the court. The middle net straps have been missing for years, and the 2 nets are sagging, definitely no longer at regulation height. Kids play and destroy the net not from tennis and people often walk their dogs inside 😞 I hope the nets will be repaired but unfortunate reviews about their experience with the harassment around this park is a big 👎 2 ⭐️⭐️ to 1 Now I know why there are no wind screens!

“A group of black teenagers barged in while my daughter and I were practicing and stole tennis balls and harrassed us.” I had the same horrible experience with those monster teenager gangsters, similar as Thomas Lee mentioned on the his Google review post, about 2 months ago. Called local police office afterward and was told they were busy on friday night. BTW, the agent on the other side of the phone had a pretty condescending tone. I wish those teenagers be put into jail ASAP. though i personally don't have any confidence about that....

Great tennis court with a view to manhattan. Was very clean and well maintained when I was there.

Great tennis courts (2 courts) in Berry Lane Park. Some tennis instructors try to hold the courts for multiple hours to conduct their lessons which can be frustrating but overall it's a great place to play tennis when in this area.

Unsafe place. There are black teenagers that will come on to your court and pick up your balls and pour water on you. There’s nothing you can do cuz you’ll be outnumbered and they will not be punished anyways Avoid this area at all cost
