Berry Lane Park in Jersey City has all the features of an urban park oasis; it has basketball courts, tennis courts, a skate board park, a field for soccer, football, and baseball. It also has a great playground for children to play with sprinklers for the kids to cool off on a summers day. This summer, at the Berry Lane Park amphitheater the Jersey City Recreation and Cultural Department is sponsoring “ The Berry Lane Music Series” on Thursday Nights from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Each concert offers live music by a different group offering a wide ranging selection of music styles from R&B, Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Pop. Parking is free on the street. Bring your chair or sit on the hill bring you picnic or you can buy food from the food trucks. This past Thursday 7/18/2024, Bobby Harden and his band had the whole park clapping, singing and dancing along with him. What a great time was had by all, especially the birthday girl who Bobby Harden centered the performance around. Come out and enjoy the music in the park.

Great vibes and amenities with live entertainment across the ice cream shop. The weather was perfect for outdoor activities and the atmosphere was good!

Good park, having lot of place for kids to play

This is a nice park but you know what would make it better? If it was cleaner. There's usually trash everywhere whenever I run through here in the morning. It's such a shame too. But it's obvious that people could care less about cleaning up after themselves.
