Barrington Recreation Center

This is a great park. There are tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a nice children's recreational area with a toddler space, and a full and a half basketball court. There are 6 picnic tables nicely positioned under a tree for some shade on those hot summer days. There's about 50 yards of grassy space for play. The grounds are well kept with a suitable amount of shade to find a spot to lay out after the play. It's a great neighborhood to visit. My only issue is the limited amount of parking spots. I don't know if there's legal parking on the street, so that might be an issue during the summer. Over it's a great park. I'd definitely recommend Barrington Park for families with young kids, teenage ballers, and the active tennis set.

A nice and compact recreation park nestled in the Brentwood hills below Sunset. Although it’s a typical urban park layout, there’s potential here for included nature that comes with the area! There’s a recreation center with restrooms, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields. Parking is available inside the park for up to four hours, tho may be crowded. Street parking along Barrington may also be possible where permitted. Temporary bus parking may be alright with the driver in sight, across the street, along the east side of Barrington Avenue.

Good place to relax and play basketball

Nice small park. There are four courts to play tennis and two to play basketball. There is also a small playground and an area to play/walk with dogs. Also, there is a picnic area. Parking is free but small and gets busy really quick. Enjoy!
