Drop in play is $7 and worth every penny. Not only do they have a ton of well taken care of courts but they provide water and shade. The BEST part? Dylan who matches players with correct courts and manages play. Don’t think I’ve visited better run courts than these. The players are fun too and super welcoming.
Great venue for tennis, very close to Sea World in San Diego. Well maintained hard courts, around 20 of them, along with a few clay courts and lots of pickleball courts. Social play and tournament play here. Well stocked pro shop. Snack bar as well. Large paved parking lot and a nice gravel overflow lot. The parking lot does get nearly full during big tournaments, but you will probably find a spot. Really a very nice tennis facility.
Barnes has really nice pickleball courts. The parking lot is a decent size. It's very clean all around. Haven't tried Open Play here yet but heard it's very good.
Barnes tennis center is a fantastic place to get your racket sports fix. I am leaving a three star review due to the recklessly stringent pro shop policy of “only unused items are eligible for a refund” I bought a pair of Wilson tennis shoes - took them on the surface once and according to the shop team, they were unacceptable for return. This was after being made to wait at the front desk and the team requesting i leave the shoes behind (?) For the sake of full transparency photos are attached. I love supporting Barnes. With that said there’s a reason i’ll take my >$30 purchases elsewhere
It is very professional and well equipped, with 24 tennis courts, which is great. We went there to play and it was a real pleasure. It was a total of 3 days of play and we enjoyed every day.
