Location of the park draws homeless people however the play structures were recently updated and are amazing for toddlers as well as older pre teens. Half the play structures are shaded perfect for the summer. There is a huge grass area where you can toss a football or fly a kite. I did not pay attention to the basket hoops, handball wall, tennis courts, bathrooms or the baseball area. Walking distance to restaurants donut shop and liquor store.
Host a bunch of great community events, free activities for the family. Due to Location you always need to be vigilant of mentally unstable and unhoused population. Gang activity has significantly decreased over the years. *do not go to the bathrooms by yourself
Not that worse but every Tuesday the dignity on wheel check their website they are there to serve a free shower and laundry for homeless kinda get busy also the park on weekends no parking gets full the restroom was clean
I Love this place, a great little hike uphill yet with beautiful sunny views of the valley called Haven...on its streets. Top views were awesome 😎
Here's a quiet neighborhood park with tennis, basketball, racket ball and volleyball courts. A baseball field, picnic tables and plenty of grassy areas too. I went here for the annual chalk art festival to see the creations, some from school age artists and some well done sidewalk drawings.
