Pretty cool place. Person at the front desk was a bit rude. Give yourself extra time during your first visit for the parking. Don’t pay to park outside! There’s a QR code inside that gets you free parking. You still need to set up an account and put down a credit card. It’s a bit of a hassle TBH.
This is really an amazing way to play pickleball. The indoor courts are really fun it definitely feels like playing outdoors but without the sun, heat and winds. Members can choose to bring their paddles or choose from the collection of paddles available for them, it’s a reservation based center. You have to make a reservation in advance, through Court Reserve, The membership prices are really worth it if you play at least couple of times a week in a month. $8 per hour for nonmembers who reserved a court and wants to play , which is a fair price if you planning on playing few games with your friends. Both members and non members can reserve a lane. You can rent any paddle of you choice that is available on display. The staffs are really nice and knowledgeable, they can help with anything you need. also the atmosphere is really wonderful. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Facility is nice but they recently implemented paid parking. They told me the last time I could just pay it when I left but last night when I left I had a notice on my car. The daily rate is $21 to park in that lot. $5 for two hours. I was parked there for two hours but the ticket fee was $75!!!! ATLANTA PICKLEBALL CENTER SHOULD DO A BETTER JOB OF MENTIONING THAT YOU NEED TO PAY PARKING AND THAT THEY DON’T VALIDATE. Previous customers who haven’t been back in a long time may be confused and get charged for BS. The fact that yall charge $36 for 1.5 hours of play and don’t validate parking for ypur coatumers is an actual joke. Then you partner with Metropolis, one of the biggest scam parking companies in the US. A fee 4x greater then the daily parking rate when you have them checking the lot multiple times a day and know I wasn’t parked there long is a joke. Don’t support Atlanta pickleball center until they work this out.
Open play is consistently inconsistent …you always allow anyone to sign up for any level and it creates such a negative experience for everyone. Make people declare a level and stick to that for a reasonable amount of time. Done playing Open Play at APC.
I am so happy this place exists! We had our first instructor led thing last week with Shannon and absolutely loved it! He’s so knowledgeable and the environment feels really legit. 10/10 would recommend.
