Impressive design with play equipment for kids 2-12. Accessible and plenty to see with rain gardens, art, water features, and seating.
I had a refreshing 15-20 minute walk through the Arsenal park. It's free access, and open to the public 24/7 and has a free parking lot south of the location. With a wide baseball field and tennis courts, it boasts many sporting activities that you can enjoy here. I recommend visiting this park!
Nice play structure, wheelchair accessible. Swing for wheelchair and also special needs swing. Basketball, baseball, benches, picnic table. Many mature trees. City is planning major renovations, start/completion dates unknown.
One of the best parks I’ve been to! The recent remodel and additions are incredible. They do a good job of keeping the playground area clean as well. Had my bestie and her son in town from Chicago and he kept asking to go to a park so I took them here and he never wanted to leave! Every time I’ve gone I always meet super friendly people too. I love walking my dog here every morning and watching people play pickleball lol also has so much room for puppers to run around!
The playground is decently sized. There are 2 baby swings, 2 bigger harness swings, 1 regular swing, a round net swing and a swing that's kinda like a "mommy and me" swing where one side is a small enclosed seat and the other side is for a bigger person to power. 5 slides, 1 wheelchair accessible carousel thing, a couple climbing nets, a boingy seat for little kids, spinning platform poles and a splash pad. The water for the splash pad shuts off at 8pm (at least it did tonight, July 20th.).
