Beware that they are now enforcing a weird rule to dim the light 5 minutes before your session ends for indoor (I assume that is when there’s someone who has the next session, but that’s technically still your time!). Never seen something like this at other facilities, city-run or private. Places like Sand Point uses a bell ring for reminding and that feels way less abrupt and rude. Otherwise the courts and facilities are okay
The team iFly is awesome and a flight instructor Tyler was absolutely fabulous. Tyler seemed to genuinely enjoy what he does, smiling thought each flight. Thank you for making it so much fun for David and Serena, they had a blast. IFly is a well coriagraphed event.
Staff was rude and cut our time.. one instructor also walked in the middle of our court while we were playing. Seems like a fine facility, but will most likely never come back here due to the staff. Quite unfortunate!
Good lessons if you can sign up and get the right coach. This comment is for their stringing job that's provided at AYTC. Terrible string job. - Takes a long time (7 days turn around) - not finishing on time (didn't finish after the regular 7 day period) - poor technique (Knot came loose on itself without playing) - I suspect the stringer used leftover strings for crosses (4 knots for a single string set up; usually it's 2 knots) The staff is nice and helpful though. I believe they outsource some of there string jobs. I wouldn't waste my money and time stringing here again. String consistency are important, especially for beginners.
Really nice tennis courts both inside and out. The indoor courts can be reserved for a fee. The outdoor courts can also be reserved but are otherwise first come first serve. The staff and coaches are always helpful willing to answer any questions.
