American Legion Park

Best thing about this park is it’s just across the street from Bo’s Ice Cream! Park has been steadily improved over the years seems up to date. Usually busy when the community center has events. Plenty of parking… and Ice cream!!!

This is a great park for people of all ages, with a playground, basketball court, volleyball court and other fields for sports play. My children loved it

I was caught at the stop light on sly and Florida, and the American Legion needs attention so Google prompted me to help by providing a rating... They’ve got a visible sign out front notind that they have dancing, and they have a low key full bar with affordable tacos on Tuesdays. It’s a safe environment with limited riffraff, surprisingly ethnically divers with folks who are more about hanging out then they are about waving the flag. I would say it’s a pretty meaningful organization that tries to do good. Compared to other spaces, this is a fair use of land.

We bought Spanish breakfast and lunch combination meals and wanted somewhere we could eat outside yet covered buy trees absolutely. We set at cement and marble decorated tables. Very comfortable outdoor seating, I highly recommend and it was cool to see some people playing volleyball in the sports complex if you have children there was a brand new gym set waiting for kids. 5 STARS PLUS
